IU Faculty-Founded Company Secures $2 Million for Cancer Breakthrough
A pre-clinical stage biotech company, NERx Biosciences, has been awarded a $2 million grant to advance its research on cancer treatment. Founded by an Indiana University School of Medicine professor, the company is developing innovative small molecule inhibitors to combat difficult-to-treat cancers like lung and ovarian. The grant from the National Institutes of Health will fuel the development of these inhibitors, which target the DNA Damage Response pathway, a crucial area in cancer research.(Read More)
